Welcome to the wedding of Carly and Tom…
The Brief
This was a perfect wedding for me – Carly and her mum got in touch 6 months before the wedding date, having chosen the stunning location of Stoke Park Club and Beaconsfield-based church ceremony, but feeling stuck and somewhat anxious and frustrated at that point with the planning. They felt they needed a very organised, experienced professional by their side to help them in pulling all the details together from there on in. They had a strong vision of what they wanted from the all white elegant colour palette to the focus on key details (and not every wedding trend) to the best music and playlist.

We handled the research, supplier selection, admin and overall timetable and logistics, had input on the creative look and were there on the day to deliver impeccable support.

Kelly was amazing from start to finish, she took all the stress away from us and made our day perfect.

The Ceremony
The church ceremony at St Mary’s & All Saints, Beaconsfield was incredibly important to Carly & Tom who spent a lot of time visiting the church on weekends (they were out of area) and attending Sunday services and working with the Reverend to prepare for marriage and to design a very fitting marriage ceremony. Their hard work was plain to see as the service was joyful, emotional, funny & moving incorporating their personal vows they had both spent time writing and practicing. The couple chose tracks played from their iPhone/sound system instead of live music and their choices suited the ceremony beautifully. A choreographed confetti moment produced the most amazing photos as guests scattered and made their way to the celebrations.
The Reception
Stoke Park Club was the setting for much celebration; the couple were whisked away on their own little golf buggy for some incredibly romantic shots in the extensive club grounds, whilst their well-heeled guests enjoyed the first canapés and cocktails on the Fountain Terrace to the sounds of the Leigh Coleman Collective. Family was exceptionally important to this couple so we factored in time for the key family group photos, still allowing mingling time for everyone in the summer sunshine.

We couldn’t have done it without you, we had the most beautiful day. Everything/everyone was spot on that you recommended. Everyone enjoyed themselves so much.

The Wedding Breakfast
We treated Carly to a little “sneak peek” of the Fountain Room all dressed, candles lit and ready to greet guests; this is always a huge highlight for us as wedding planners and the sight of the room set in all its elegant white beauty, quite literally took her breath away. We focused on voluminous florals with an abundance of peonies and it worked perfectly in the rich character setting of the room. We added a simple hand-made menu/place card to each guest setting as well as white & silver table numbers and hired super crisp linens but otherwise Carly wanted to opt for a “less is more” look and let the flowers do the talking. The white ruffle cake with a personalised glitter cake topper was every inch a show-stopper. Live music was really key to this couple for their celebration and we were treated to more of the Coleman Collective during parts of the wedding breakfast before the fantastic, fun-filled and tear-jerking speeches commenced; so much emotion, so much love in the room – it’s what it’s all about.
The Party
Carly & Tom wanted to keep the momentum going throughout the entire day and evening and much thought and effort was put into the look and feel of the party. We installed a pea-lit dancefloor, amber uplighting, stage backdrop drapes, crisp white furnishings and a really fabulous Mr and Mrs dancefloor projection to set the scene. With a young crowd we booked Junior Guevarra of Eight Ray Music who delivered an incredibly high tempo live set from the get-go, with their DJ following with a spot-on playlist that they worked hard to curate with and for this couple. The white taxi photo booth was a winner with young and old as guests partied the night away, with plenty of photo evidence of a great time had!
